Setup for Humax F2 Satellite Receiver

- Press Menu
- Go to Installation and press >, enter pin code 0000
- Antenna Setting, press >
- Satellite, press > then use down arrow to Optus D2, press >
Note: If Optus D2 is not in the list, select Optus B3, or User Defined to use the on-screen keyboard that will appear to enter the satellite name. - Change LNB frequency to 10700 if required, press >
- Press 'back' button
- Manual Search, press >, Satellite name Optus D2, press >
- Transponder, press > then use down arrow to User Define press >
- Frequency, press > set frequency 12546 and wait until it is automatically loaded.
- Polarization, press > then down arrow to Vertical, press >
- Symbol Rate, press > then down arrow to User Define, press >, type in 22500 and wait until it is automatically loaded.
- FEC, press > then down arrow to 3/4, press >
DO NOT PRESS DONE AT THIS STAGE. - Now you must go out and look for the satellite by moving the satellite dish. When you have found the satellite and the Quality bar Manual Search screen is at least 50% full, then use arrows to go to the Done box and press >
- Check that all the information is correct and use the arrows to go to the Search box and press Okay
- The unit will search and locate 3ABN and Hope channels quickly.
- Press Okay to save channels.
- Press Exit
- To find channels press List and use down arrows to the required channel then press Okay and then Exit.
- To delete unwanted channels or move channels within the list go to the relevent section of the Humax manual for instructions.
PLEASE NOTE! If the Done box is pressed at the wrong time go immediately to the Default heading and reset the unit.
The setting for this unit is very easy once you get to know what to do. In the future the unit will be pre programmed with 12546 set into them.
